The highly anticipated Kanye West, Jay-Z album “Watch The Throne” is going to drop soon and the first song from the album titled H.A.M. samples an Otis Redding track but other than knowing that fact and hearing the song Kanye West and Jay-Z have left the album shrouded in mystery, foregoing all traditional release advertising for the album that will drop in just two weeks time.
What’s been missing? The track has no visuals other than a disc artwork release, while no performances have been given other than a Jay-Z joined “H.A.M.” showing at the South by Southwest festival, there has also been no radio appearances by the planets top rappers.
The digital release is expected Aug. 1 with the physical version arriving four days later and it looks like that’s about all the information we’ll have until then.
H.A.M has received mixed reviews since it was released but regardless of internet chatter Otis Redding has become an internet trend on various services as the two rappers with 15 No. 1 albums between them prepare to drop Watch the Throne.
