NEW DELHI-Director General of Civil Aviation of India Ek Bharat Bhushan firing rate gradually to foreign pilots is a measure to cut costs.
"Indian aviation industry could make savings by reducing the cost of exit for foreign pilots," Bharat said in his press conference, quoted Okezone of CNNGO.com on Thursday (07/14/2011).
"Currently there are 415 foreign pilots who are employed in India. Year 2013, we can make an independent aviation industry from foreign pilots, "he said.
But if India wants the independent aviation industry from foreign pilots, then they should be able to cope with domestic issues such as permission to fly a false and audit 40 flight school.
Indian aviation industry is poised to grow big and cutting costs is understandable. But not if the downside is an increased likelihood of being flown over the Himalayas by someone with permission to fly a fake.
